Volunteer with Joyriders Therapeutic Riding in Hunter River and support therapeutic riding programs for children and adults with disabilities. This opportunity is a strong fit if you are 16 or older, reasonably fit, and comfortable around horses, even if you have no horse experience. Volunteers join the spring riding program for eight weeks in May and June and attend an orientation in late April. If you want a rewarding, hands on way to support recreation, confidence, and community connection for riders, this is a great place to start.
